dvd burner stopped working

I have a MESH PC with a internal DVD reader/writer & it has just stopped working. It will not read/write any disk. Power is there as the drawer opens/closed & the red laser is visable.
Brand SAMSUNG
Type DVD Burner
Model SH-S203N
keeps telling me that the driver is missing
TSST CORP CDDVDW SH-S203N ATA DEVICE FAILED.
I have uninstalled the drive & reinstalled.
disabled/enabled.
I have installed driver magic, scanned all derivers, updated them all but still the dvd is problem.

any one got a solution.

might have come unpluged a little have a look or swop the ports if its sata

if that fails u will be looking at gettin a new 1 around ?12 min
