    help required please

    hey guys, running windows 7 and i have typed something that i woulkd prefer our maude not to see.

    problem is everytime you go to type in a dialogue box a history of stuff typed in the past comes up.

    how do i delete it?

      its on a web browser dude.

      if i go to the pirate bay and start to type in the dialogue box what i am searching for, the computer displays text from the past. things that have been typed before, a predictive text sort of thing.

        Hi. Press the first letter you want. When the txt starts appearing press the down arrow to highlight it. Start pressing the delete key to wipe it out. Then try again see if it comes back up

          it comes back up.

          if i click in the dialogue box everything ever typed comes up.

          gonna cause me some trouble this unless i can delete it.
          its nowt jimmy saville'esk tho. but it does involve another woman.

                    Firefox has a 'delete history' function.

                    It can be found in the options > privacy menu.

                    You can also turn on 'private browsing' from the menu. This setting stops your surfing from being recorded in the history.

                      If you you are using explorer goto tools when you are connect to the browser and delete history.

                          Just set it 2 delete browsing history on exit job done she will never need to know what ~~~~ site youve been on...............
