Hi guys, just sign up to Digital kaos and was wondering can any1 help me out with a problem im having with the new modem upc have issued to all its users. Basically, its signal strenght is to be quit frank SHIT (old modem worked fine). I read somewhere that if I buy a set of wall plugs and plug one of them in2 the new upc moden upstairs and plug the other wall plug in2 the old upc modem downstairs this would increase my signal????? Is this true and if so, how would I set up the second mondem down stairs?? I would greatly appreciate it guys if some1 could get rid of my headache and give me a word of advice as for UPC techs = Gopshits!!!!

Dont understand why you need 2 modems, you can use 2 but you will have to issue 1 a static ip so you dont get conflicts welcome to D-K...............
