    Sky HD Hard Drive

    Hi,

I have taken a Seagate Pipeline HD 2 500GB out of an old sky HD box to use as an external hard drive.

Can someone point me in the right direction on what to do next? What connecter do I need to connect it via USB?

    Thanks

get yourself a hd enclosure similar to these at ebuyer.
once fitted in to the enclosure connect it to a pc then format the drive.

            Thanks for the replies.

I will be using the drive to record from a satellite receiver (Galaxy HD 3000) once I have formatted it, should this work straight away?

i think what u do is format the drive then make it unallocated making it unused like new
(u can do that in ur device manager)
and then pop it into ur galaxy and then it should work
