overclocking rams

chosing memory for gaming and overclocking

should go with lower freq or higher and why ?

like 1600MHz or 1800 0r 2000

i have asus rampage 2 extreme
ASUS - Motherboards- ASUS Rampage II Extreme

if your overclocking you cpu you might notice the difference, but if you are not going to overclock I personally wouldn't bother.
With current cpus faster ram does not make a fat load of difference.
