need help connecting a allfine pc703 to the internet

my daughter got one off these cheap laptops for christmas,it connects to the wifi but when you open up internet explorer i come to a page saying cannot find server or dns error ,the apps built into the pc are connecting to the internet like the weather app any one any ideas

You probably need to put in your Wifi password
Look on the back of your router if you don't remember it and haven't change the default

yes thats sorted, as soon as you turn it on the wifi is connected like i say the built in apps work except for youtube and internet explorer the other day it connected to the virgin search engine but when you try google or anything else it comes back with errors is there anyway to reset the laptop or install a different opperating system on or sort this out

i checked this out before i posted but only read half off it but after a full read i found the problem, it says that my router encripition needs to be changed,if you change it will my laptop and desktop still work through the wireless or will they not be conpatable
