stubborn usb stick

Hi chaps
I have a stubborn 64gig usb stick that refuses to format. I have tried swissknife already with no affect just locks the pc up until i unplug it.
Its been stubborn in the past when i used to use it on my dm800
even when its plugged in to that it doesn't recognize it'

any one no any good format tools

Spent many an hour foo*in about with sticks and cards mate
They always end up in the bin
Shame yours is a large memory but it will prob end up in the bin
Tried all the format tools meself no joy with any of them
Hard drives them selves seem to format a lot easier than sticks and cards IMO ..........Paul
