    How to factory reset laptops?

    Hi

I have 2 laptops that are running very slow and almost all the hardrive space is used up.

Could anyone here help me reset them back to factory settings? I have saved all the files and pics on a external hardrive already. I don't where the CDs are that came with laptops when I got the laptops....can they be restored without the CDs?

    Many thanks

download a copy of whatever os is on the system, burn a disc and install it, using the options to format the drives when asked during fresh install.
    Fave replies from various threads

1: What the fff is all that about??? All that crap below your reply I mean, get a life mate
2: no info on google abt the pace sv5 rang asda they have no idea what i was talking about,
3: Your total contribution to this forum, bordering on trolling, seems to have been a collection of snipes, one liners & asterisked expletives

some manufacturers have a backup menu allowing you to reset it to how it was when purchased by continuously pressing f11 as it boots, could be a different f button depending on manufacture
