    Laptop to tv

    Is it possible to connect Laptop to tv just using vga to hdmi cable? Its only to view ~~~~hub


    Its just to watch films really


    will it work ok?


    If not what about vga to s video?


    if not what about vga to rca??

    You can literally get any combination of the cables you just mentioned, I assume that VGA - HDMI would be your preference choice. Plenty to choose from on the E of Bay

      Will it work tho ? some wise soul said i need an analogue converter and cable not just the cable

      Just a cable preferred not bothered if its not hdmi ( although i have a spare on tv) if the 3 lead RCA connection works with vga or S- video will work with vga im happy with that

      Just want to clarify that it will definately work before i order

        I dont think you will have any problems the VGA standard will do at least the minimum 720p HD standard and QXGA goes even higher. I used to run my old PC a few years ago through VGA to DVI adaptor to get my first glimpse of HD that was around 2003 and that worked no problem.

        Most of the leads are around a couple of quid so gotta be worth a punt

            wondering if you got a PC tower with screen if you can disconnect the vga cable from screen monitor and tower and just try that if connection are same, if it works than you can buy longer one

              Hi mate. It works on vga but you need the audio lead to. . Its a bit of a slaver but it works.. Better still get a smart tv . Good quality
