I took up an Offer from sky for them to install a free wifi hotspot in my premises thinking I would be able to use it myself
But it seems I have to log in like any member of the public which means that any device has to go through a login screen
That is ok with any device with a key board and screen but I cant logon with my technomate 500 what I want know is can I run an ethernet cable from wifi router to computer then logon when the logon screen comes up
Then through a ethernet splitter or switch and another cable let me to hook up any devices to go online
I can do it wirelessly through a bridge in computer but connection keeps dropping that is why I want to connect through ethernet cable
