Ted, see for what your saying you want the machine to do mate which is basically nothing much at all, you'd honestly be better just going to the nearest (you know where shop, ) and getting a right cheap'o system from there which will come with a 1 years warranty, maybe even a 2 years warranty, never know, and thats that.

Just using a machine to surf the web and check email etc, I honestly wouldnt even break a sweat putting parts together for that kind of stuff mate, its so cheap for those cheap systems that are all you will need it is really a waste of your time building it yourself and even if you do, it will only be the parts warrantied, not the whole build, know what I mean mate ???

On the other hand, if you wanted to get into some really serious building of a serious system then yes you can save some money and its great to learn yourself, plus I would gladly help you with all that too, thats my fav thing with computers is things like building gaming Rigs and overclocking the cpu from bios etc etc etc, all that boring geeky stuff, LOL.

          Best of luck mate.

just read your comments again, this purely all depends on if your serious, you said 300 to 800quid, thats quite a big difference, , so whats it to be and then I can target all things for you easier, working to a budget of 300 though is like I said in my previous post mate really.
