Can you move a hdd from 1 pc to another

Hi guys I have 2 pcs at home which i need to move around

1 is my sons
1 is mine

I want my son to have the more powerfull pc so was wondering if i can swap the HDD's

of course you can add/swap them if it has an operating system
it will need to be driver its the hardware configuration differences
you will to reinstall the drivers of the system your adding the drive
to.

There is nothing hard about swapping a HDD for another. Once swapped its best to format and reinstal your OS
