It's a bit of a long shot, but is it possible to remove a password (or find the password) for a excel file that is password protected?
A person at work created a spreadsheet and password protected it, he has since left the company and no-one knows the password for it. We are unable to download software to crack it due to UAC and Company Policy. Is it possible to save the file in another format and then find the password for example? I'm sure I've read that before, but I can't find it.
It's a .xls Excel 2003 file.
