i came accross my old amiga 600 today and championship manager 93 floppy disk this was the only thing i used the amiga for,i got the amiga set up but couldnt tune it into the t.v and the disks werent making the whirring noises etc as when loading so i'm not sure if the amiga or the disks or both were knackered,i did a google search for championship manager 93 and it brought up a site for downloading old games etc does anybody use these sites or can they recommend a site where i can get the game? also when it says download the game would i need to use a blank dvd or would it download straight to my laptop? i never play games or download films etc so would need it to be very easy to do.

I've downloaded old spectrum games as well as Atari/Amiga games without any problems. Ballsed if I can remember what site I got them from though or the emulator to run them. I strongly doubt you'd need a dvd to burn it to as the game is probably only a couple of MB and will run on the appropriate emulator. Besides that, burning to dvd is yesterdays jam, man. If you were downloading a more recent game of a few GB or more, the iso can be mounted and run on a ghostdrive such as poweriso or gizmodrive. -
dont understand the ghosts and gizmo stuff, i take it its not as simple a clicking on download and away we go.Comment

If you get an emulator for say the amiga. The games will run from a folder.
The games as red said will be a couple mb an more than likely in .bin format so no need for ghost drives or mounting iso on virtual drives.
I will see whats about at some point for you

dosbox 0.74 will run old amiga games
try and find ur game thats already been transfered to pc DOS Games: All Games List
DOSBox v0.74 Manual
Download DOSBox DOS Emulator from SourceForge.net
make a folder in ur c drive and call it games and make another folder inside games and extract ur game to it
find the exe of the game and make note of what its called (cm93.exe)
and then call ur new folder the name of the exe without .exe
then fire up dosbox
when it first starts it points at ur Z:\> drive
Type this then hit enter
mount c c:\games
This will point now to the games folder on C: drive
Now type and hit enter
cd cm93
Now u should see its called the folder were the game is found (c:\cm06>)
Now type and press enter
cm06.exe
and this should load the gameComment

I'm not into gaming, but it is the likes of Cunnys post that makes DK the best website in the World. If you get an emulator for say the amiga. The games will run from a folder.
