    pc security?

    i currently have Norton 360 az my PC security but its up 4 renewal in 20 days time.

    Just posting a question what do other people recommend as good PC security???

    1) A router.
    2) AVG.
    3) Sygate personal firewall.
    4) Spybot.
    5) Don't open any files you're not sure of.

      Also if your running firefox as your browser install lthe 'noscript' plugin. Worth adding to spybot s&D mentioned above with SpywareBlaster..

          noscript for firefox
          dont use IE.

              i have only ever used Norton, i am a novice?
              i don't run FireFox what eva that means????

                        Hi a perfect combination is avast home for your virus and commodo for the firewall coupled with malware bytes and spybot search and destroy... all are free and work perfectly. also to all who dont know try using opera as a browser very quick and flexible i use this in conjunction with firefox.. works well - goto filehippo.com and take what you need.

                          I work as an IT Tech, we currently use Nod32 by eset at work, in my opinion it is definitely one of the best av programs.

                              avg 8.5 is good as it scans the pages before you open them which is a nice feature i have that installed with spybot search and destroy and windows defender thats all and not had a virus at all on my pc thats if your careful.
