Best way to rip a cd?

Hi all I have a cd which I love in one of my cars, downloaded it in mp3 from a website to go on USB in my other car but the quality is awful.

What's the best way to rip my own cd to my hdd so I can copy it onto my usb? I'd like the track title and artist names too if that's possible without physically typing them all in.

you can use windows media player to rip from a cd it will give you the option to rip at 320kbs which will give you the best sound quality, if the cd your copying from is a "proper" cd the artists name etc should be copied as well, if you download music from torrents etc try getting the music thats 320kbs as well. there will be freeware out there that will do the same job as wmp i suppose, but wmp does it so i use that.

nero is really good for doing this
collecting info of the web about disc and allowing u many option of what to rip, order of indexing etc...

also alittle codec on there called mp3pro which is good for saving space but not to sure about the end quality but give it a go

You can also try CDex which is free. But if you're looking for good quality you should be using FLAC instead of MP3
