there is a record, chronologically listed... dated! in the my documents of the user. At least on XP there is, and you can browse it from from your own user name if they other person doesnt unshare the doc folder.
Bit Naughty tho looking at others conversations.. you might learn something you don't wanna know.

hi mate.. if you want to do it properly you can use something called a KeyLogger.. your keyboard plugs into it and the logger then plugs into the keyboard port on your pc.. its hiden away down the back so its not seen.. it logs every keystroke on your pc.

you would only see replies with that though ops.

If youve got another computer then you can remotely monitor the msn one in real time.

I used to do this with my stepdaughter after her mom found ~~~~o and blamed me!

I installed uvnc and hid it running under the admin account then i could watch her computer, take complete control over it if need be and send messages if she was doing something seriously wrong.

There wasnt aany secrecy involved either, i let her know straight up that she could be watched at any time, after she said it wasnt possible i waited till she had logged on and took over control and started to write "SEE?" on MSPaint.

This seemed enough if a deterant to keep her on the straight and narrow, so much so i never really used the thing after that.

              Also there iOpus STARR

STARR is based on real world experience: It creates one HTML-File that contains everything that you choose to log (keystrokes, used applications, visited websites, chat transcripts,...).The HTML file is fully searchable for specific keywords (e. g. "xxx") and thus makes the evaluation of the log file a snap! The compact, single log file is also ideally suited for archiving the results to satisfy legal requirements.

              PHP Code:
              http://iopus-starr.en.softonic.com/

MSN.Messenger.Monitor.Sniffer another i saw on usenet.
