    Convert x to DVD help

Hi I do a lot of burning using convert x to DVD I was just wondering how good this PC would be for doing this task an possibly how long an average Avi file would take to convert with it thanks calhib

I don't know what you are trying to burn but avi files can be enormous in size compared to other files such as wmv or mp4.

I'd estimate under 8 mins for the convert then 5 mins to burn

You could tell convertx to create an .iso and use imgburn to burn, however, set your burning speed to x8 and you should be fine.

In all honesty, thats not bad times.

I've found using win Avi to convert takes roughly 7 minutes and then 7 minutes using IMF burn so all in all I'm happy thanks for the info lads
