wanto move email from one thunderbird to another

ok just started using thunderbird e mail i now want to move all my exsisting e mails and address books and folders from one computer to another ,how do i do this ?

if ur using a built in mail box like 'windows live mail' you can save all ur docs,contacts etc by finding the saved folder under appdata

you will need to show hidden files and folders to be able to see/view appdata under C:\USERS\YOU!\APPDATA and u will come across 3 folders local, locallow, and roaming

in one of these folders u will find the email application your using and its files and all you nned to do is save that folder and paste it over the same folder on your new machine and should load up with all ur current settings and emails
