    Hard drive cloning

    Hi all need a little help to fully clone my hard drive so if i my HD ever dies i would like to put the back up drive in and off i go again , i have bootit running on both HD's i would like to clone , also would like to save image's on another backup external drive .... any advice will help !!

    I usually use Norton Ghost, but there are others (on the hirens cd), these programs boot from cd/dvd or floppy and do the cloning that way, That way all files will get copied.

      Paragon Hard disk manager has never failed me, I have rescued a number of systems with this program.

          If you don't mind spending some money I would recommend buying a cloning machine off of ebay. Bought one myself and all I have to do is stick in my HDD and a blank one of same size, press the button and the machine does it all for me! saves a lot of time and effort and reduces the risk of bricking your own HDD with bad cloning software. Hope this helps!
