I think the only way to do this is to do a backup of the present system and then wipe the hd and reinstall windows 7. I you delete the dual boot from the partition then, as far as I figure, your system may not boot at all.

    But I'm open to correction.

PS. Put the backup onto a usb stick (8gb to be sure) before you wipe the hd then boot usb stick by entering in bios to boot from it.

      open run
in the box type msconfig and click on ok
in the box that opens select Boot
this opens your boot options where you can make changes

just be careful what you are doing

My go to tool for such things is the free easybcd, lets you backup and change your boot options very easily, obviously not relevant here but with Windows 8/10 it's virtually impossible to enter safe mode by pressing F8 on boot so easybcd lets you easily add a menu option for safe mode so you can simply make the choice every time you reboot.

EasyBCD is a software utility for Windows that lets you control and configure the BCD/BOOTMGR bootloader for Windows 7, Windows 10, and Windows 11 for dual-boots.

(scroll to the bottom and choose the free version).
