    Wireless mouse

Anyone know of a UK based seller of the A4tech range of pc mice ?
I'm after a wireless battery free mouse to replace the one I currently use which has started playing up.
I can find loads of links to the products BUT no-one seems to have stock and they all seem to be foreign web sites.
Been looking for ages now but I may not be looking in the right place .
Any suggestions appreciated because the mice are excellent.

Despite the cost of living, it's still very popular.

They work on electro magnetic induction.
Basically the power needed by the mouse is fed to it through magnetic induction via the mouse pad which plugs into a usb port.
        Clever stuff and VERY good.

The one in the Amazon link above is NOT the correct one because it uses batteries the type I'm after has no batteries at all. Thanks anyway.

              Hi,

I also really love these mice, I have a NB-99D which still works but is starting to get a little tatty so went on the hunt, unfortunately in A4tech's own words they simply stopped making this kind of mouse:

              Dear Paul,

Good day! This is Camille from A4tech, very glad to know you. Thanks very much for your support of our A4Tech products. I?m sorry to tell you the battery-free mouse you mentioned below had been phased out by the market for several years.
I found a couple on US Amazon and as I was already ordering an Amazon Fire from there to a US redistributor (ie it gives me an American address to receive the package then sends it on to my real address) I decided to order one as well:

              ?23.58 / $34.95

They also have a simpler model with a square mouse pad:

              ?20.17 / $29.95

Unfortunately it looks like these are the last mice on the planet using this method of powering the mouse, shame as it works so well!

                Thanks for the info Grimbarian.
As you say it's a shame these mice are gone for good because they are absolutely brilliant.
Looks like it's a step back for this technology, and I thought the pc world was always pushing forward !

If you like I can let you know what the total costs were after it has arrived, no idea how much the packages will be size wise so can't say for sure how much in shipping/taxes from the US, I love these kinds of mice so much it's definitely worth paying a little extra!

Looks ok but it's not the type I'm after as it needs charging before use.
The ones pictured above require no batteries and no charging at all.

Sorry for the delay in replying, was at our summerhouse at the weekend, received the package from the USA just over a week ago, was surprised when I got a note to collect if from the local supermarket as I knew that meant there were no additional customs duty/taxes to pay which I was expecting, here's some pics of the two mice:

The first one was a bit smaller than I was expecting, it's probably similar in size to a notebook mouse, works perfectly though and is nice and sensitive so I left that one with my summerhouse PC. The other one I opened just now, curiously the base works perfectly with my A4Tech mouse which is great as it was the base that was getting worn but the mouse itself worked fine so I'll put the new mouse in a drawer and use the old mouse with the new base

On top of how much they cost from Amazon USA ($29.95 for the smaller one and $34.95 for the other one) I paid $45.66 for the reshipping (the package also included an Amazon FireTV), for the customs declaration I declared $49.95 for the Amazon FireTV and $10 & $15 for the mice.

Thanks for taking the time and effort to inform me of prices, location etc I really appreciate it.
Looks like I may have to order from the USA as you did.
