Disabling Windows XP drives updates

Hello,

I'd like to ask, how I could disable the automatic Windows XP updating of drives? I want to install drivess from file but automatic updates install drives and I don't accept drives from file.

hi mate ..my computor/system information/hardware tab/windows update.in there you can choose options,never use windows update for drivers,or something similiar

- Go to Control Panel

- Click System

- Go to the Automatic Updates tab

- Un-select the "Keep my computer up to date" box
