what cables/leads do i need

i want to watch a film on my tv from my pc, what leads will enable me to to do this, this is a desperate plea for help

mate if your pc has a hdmi scoket on it use that. If not you will have to use a normal vga cable or dvi cable from the back of the video card to your tv .

Have a look what your connections are on your pc. You could have a tv out , svideo or hdmi. Then see what connections you have on your tv. More than likely svideo to svideo but could be a combination of many. Cheapest place to buy these leads, whatever they may be is ebay. You can buy them from Maplin or Currys\pcworld etc but you always pay OTT in those places.

. If your not sure what you got do a google for the connections and have a look at the pic. EG tv out etc tvout - Google Images

go to device manager in your pc, google make of graphocs card to find connections. Google them, i have ran DVI-HDMI before, 1 thing is to remember that a lead from the graphics card wont carry sound so you will have to run that also
