can any one recommend software for hiding or encrypting folders.my mate told me about truecrypt but wanted to see if anyone else knows of others. also i was thinking a folderlock software of some sort would be ok but he thinks encrypting it would be better

i use truecrypt as well... i would not advice using folder lock software simpley because you only have to delete the software to make the folders seen again. not very secure at all. -
