Have to keep formating

I am currently trying to play avi files from my pc on my drive in my eurovox. I posted earlier about the file conversion and I am currently working on that. But there is another hitch I have hit. I put a file onto the drive of my eurovox via the tv and than take it out and hook it up to my PC via a Sharkoon drive link. Every time I do this the pc does not recognize the drive and I have to format the drive every time I swap from the eurovox to pc. This in turn wipes the drive clean. Is there a way to stop this from happening!!!!!!!

Are you formatting it to NTFS or FAT32??
