Deleted my main HDD in Device Manager - HELP

I was looking to update the drivers on an external USB drive and in the process I seem to have uninstalled my PC's booting hdd from Device Manager.

When I scan for hardware changes it doesn't return.

It's asking me to reboot to complete the process, which I'm scared of doing.

The computer's still functioning okay but the drive no longer appears in Disk Management.

Any ideas please?

Copy and files you need saving to your usb drive incase it goes wrong

I took the risk of a System Restore and it worked.
