    need advise upgrading ram

    hi i was going upgrading the ram on my laptop
    i found this site
    Compaq / Hewlett Packard ( HP ) Presario (Laptop) F Series F700 - Memory ( RAM ) Upgrade from Orca Logic Ltd

    its says the maximum i can have is 2 gig which is alreayd in it
    im just wondering can i put extra in or will it affect the computer

      2gig max, it sounds about right to me... I have managed to get Thinkpads to see a little extra ram in the past after flashing the bios with the latest firmware etc but i doubt you will get anywhere with this Presario...
