When I got my 20mb pacakage, it worked out ?4 amonth cheaper (once the discounts have expired) to get the phone line as well. So now I have a phone line I don't use. The advantage im doing this is that you also get the M TV package for free.

at their current prices, it's ?38 a month for 50mb broadband only, but if you get the phone too it's ?39 a month. So you're getting a phone and M TV for ?1 a month. If I were you I'd go for that, and get the broadband installed upstairs and TV downstairs, that way you get the coaxial installed upstairs and downstairs so it's easier for you if you want to run an additional boxes on your feed. You can always move the broadband back downstairs or TV upstairs after the engineers gone if thats where you want it.
