PPc & Laptop Keeps being redirected

    Dker's Hi,

I am becoming frustrated with all I know (which isn't a lot) but bothe my laptop and Desktop keep being redirected, I use G**gle as my search provider, however, when I search for anything it redirects the page to some sheite like K Directory or something else, can you advise me how to get rid of this and what I need to do??

    Thanks in advance

Check your hosts file at C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\
but to be honest, I doubt it's that.

            It sounds like a rootkit.

Have a look at this thread for an example of what a rootkit can do and how to get rid of it. I should point out, though, that the instructions on that thread are for that particular user/PC.
