    New PC

I am gonna buy a new desktop. Cunny sent me a link to this Fujitsu Amilo Pi 3635 PC + CASHBACK OFFER - Misco.co.uk
But I am tempted by the Aldi offer this Thursday, ALDI - Thursday Special Buys 4th February 2010

Can anyone pick holes in either of the computers I have highlighted? or even post suggestion links for other ones.

i3-530 vs Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 any opinions?

I have until Thursday to decide.

Hi xant14, i'd go with the i3-530 processor. i3 = lga 1156 socket, Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 = lga 775 socket, thus the Multimedia PC MEDION? AKOYA? E4355 D has a more up to date motherboard & you can easily upgrade futher down the line. Hope this is helpful.

I'd go for the Aldi one as well, if for nothing else they have a 3 year warranty and i got my money back after 2 and half years when i last bought a medion from Aldi, just make sure you dont lose your receipt

              Build one.

              Half the cost.

All parts covered for 1 year and to be honest a 3 year warranty on a PC is useless as after 6 months it outdated anyway.

Yeah, nothing wrong with the Medion in Aldi, they put together some good branded stuff, that PC has decent stats for the money.
