Windows7 upgrade

Hi just wonder if anyone could tell me if i use a upgrade version of windows 7, if later at any point i decide to do a complete reboot would i be able to start a fresh with the windows upgrade disk.

there is no upgrade disc of windows 7, the full installation disc of the various 7 operating systems give you full installation on a reformatted or new hd, xp system but it will also upgrade from vista.
