    AVIRA ANTI VIRUS

    does anyone know if this is a decent free anti virus,someone in my work said they use it,ive been using avast free edition.

    had this on pooter once thought it was load of shite m8
    use ESET NOD32 now but lot of members say avast is good

        Avira is good. Last time I looked it's the smallest footprint free anti-virus that has real time detection.

        However IMHO ESET NOD32 is second to none. I am not one that thinks all av's are equal and that free AVG will be ok.

              Ive had avast free edition for almost a year and its not to bad but there is better out there !!!

                its the best free one , if u pair it with the also free Spybot S&D they are some serious firepower

                    Avira is a waste of antivirus. It is very poorly configured and too many times detect false detection! And there's no way to open a crack or key generator. Immediately activated without any reason. NOD32 respect
