    file to big to fit on dvd, useing dvd fab - help please im pulling my hair out ...

    ok i used dvd fab to copy the dvd [as shrink wouldnt do it ] it copys it ok and leaves vob files but its to big to fit on a standard dvd ?? i even ran the vobs through shrink but it will not shrink it enough .

    how can i copy this dvd and make it fit on a standard dvd keeping all the dvd menus etc.

      simple you cant.. your probably trying to copy all the information from a dual layered disc to a single layered disc.. bin the menus and special features and you should be able to get the main film on a single disc

              dvd2one will shrink the file to fit a disc including extras or movie only without any loss in quality but it is paid for software.

                  Use DVD Shrink. Open the DVD, Select the "re-author" tab, then drag the "main movie" from the right-hand pane across to the left-hand pane.
