Making my printer wireless...

Just wanted to know if this would be possible....
I have a printer that is not wireless you have to connect it by usb to my pc. So was wondering if i bought a usb to ethernet adapter and connected it to my router would it work? As in making it wireless?

i have a printer networked through a wifi router connected with a ethnet cable to the router so give it a try its only the cost of a cable.
