    New Virus popped up!!!!!!!!

I can't get into my laptop because of a virus called "Lsas.Blaster.Keyloger"- anyone heard of it? It seems that "Spy Doctor" (which was already loaded) kepps telling me that all my files are infected with it and it is trying to get my credit card details. (I don't have them on my laptop anyway). HELP!!!!

make sure your spydoctor and antivirus programs are up to date and run scans and fix any problems. If you don't have any antivirus software, then get some. You can get free ones on the web one of which is AVG AVG Free - Download Free Antivirus and Antispyware for Windows 7, Vista and XP

the fact that your infected file is known as *** keylogger and is looking for your credit card details is not a good sign. keyloggers steal your data like credit card details, but you already know it is a malware file anyways. hope you get it sorted

if the shit hits the fan, yuck out the hard drive, get an adaptor, so you can put the infected drive into somebody eleses desktop pc, scan with their virus checker, whip off onto a cd/dvd your ~~~~o's etc then simply bob the hardrive back into your laptop and re-formatt it.

Check first that there is no problems with reformatting on that particular machine.

I have a desktop pc where when you re-format the keyboard goes to 'sleep' so you can't re-formatt it, i happen to have a simular machine which can drop the harddrive into to re-format .

Lsas.Blaster.Keylogger is a scam, a false Windows alert which is a Trojan, part of a rogue application. It will annoy you with lots of pop ups alerting you to purchase using your credit card.
This rogue application comes from other software downloaded on the internet such as some video codec with malware.

          • To remove Lsas.Blaster.Keylogger manually:
            • Press CTRL+ALT+DEL to open Task Manager

          Kill Spyware Processes:
          692527612.exe, 1313928688.exe, 1806188250.exe
          • Delete these Files and Folders:

          C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\870894309\692527612.exe

or if you dont want to do it manually then
Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, update it and run a full scan. Remove everything it finds.

For me Malwarebytes worked the best for spyware. AVG is good but it has one flaw its "free", and its not 100% safe. The best is Symantec Endpoint Protection but its resource hog.
