the last drive i bought was a lg which is ok i also use a liteon which also uses lightscribe, lightscribe gives you the ability to burn pictures or text onto the non recordable side of a cd, the lightscribe discs have a special coating on them which gives you the ability to do it.

if you want to burn an advanced graphics by lightscribe it can take a lot of time Pioneer's dvdrws are ver good
