I used it for multimedia, controlling 3D printers and even running a router on OpenWrt.

Why not use it as an ad blocker.. route all traffic through the pi before the router.. (Y) every device on that network becomes ad free..

I haven't really ever had a music streamer since the napster days as holding and storing these files for something that might get listened too once a year imho wasn't worth the effort to keep updated..

Are you uising this with services like amazon and or other music services??
