    virgin media security centre

    does anybody use vermins free security centre?
    is it good / bad?
    would i need any additional security software???

      i used norton 360 bfore.
      my computer seems to run faster with vermins.
      i'm wondering how good the protecton is

          Scrap the vermin rubbish and just go with something like Commodos free firewall and NOD32 or maybe AVG for your antiviurs. All free.

          Nortons bloatware s*it will slow your PC right down. I used to use it years ago but don't see the point anymore when the free stuff is as good if not better.

            slow for me too. The company that made it has must have empolyed the people who worked for Norton -me thinks.

            I prefer BitDefender one of the best.

                  the VM and Norton ones are seriously system-hungry applications.

                  Then, google 'nag hack' to stop the pop up screen coming up all the time asking you to buy it.

                    Like i said in another topic, I use Avast Pro 5 on all my system, very fast and hardly uses and system resources.
