+1 Sony and +1Nero. Windows Movie Maker (free w/windows) can get the job done as well.

I use Pinnacle Studio for ages.... very friendly and easy....
I still using version 10 with some patches and add-ons...

I use corel videostudio. its ace, all drag and drop for simple stuff, but its got the oomph for more advanced shiteFave replies from various threads
