    Yes it can be done with any utility which can access S.M.A.R.T. function of hdd if enabled in bios


    For dual HDD boot, presing F12 on boot screen for all modern mobos can do "miracles"

      Agreed !!!
      The list you get after pressing F12 is dynamic so beware: you only see memorystick or usb drive in the list after you hooked it up.
