ESET Vs Malware

hi can someone please help and explain to me, why bother with ESET???

my son had some (software) problems with his laptop,
first being no protection....
Been warning him for years "should always have protection"..

Anyway. i ran latest ESET through it and it found 0 infections, Etc.
i then ran Malwarebytes through it and found 600 ploblems,
i understand they look for different attacks, but wtf am i paying for with ESET???? (well no actully paying, that would be silly)

600 different type of attacks / warnings what ESET looking 4 then????

u should always use both m8 , most anti virus hasnt not Malware built in and malware dosnt stop web page viruses

i do run both always, was just wondering wtf eset did?

eset just seems to stop keyg*ns etc nothing else.

then once i have downloaded something i allways run malware through it.. just to be safe
