What's the most simple, yet fairly decent free Web Design Software??

What does anyone use then?

I used to have an old version of Dreamweaver - before Adobe took it over... that was quite good at the time, but the new versions boggle me and I'm thinking about making a website for my other halfs potential new business venture.

Cheers for the info Andy, but we've already got the domain and hosting sorted! I've got a site builder as part of the hosting, but it's more complicated than it needs to be... I'll continue my search!

most dedicated programs tend to be a bit bloated. many hosting companies offer page generators online or play with something like google pages to see if you like it. the real issue with ecommerce is the payment processing, and paypal seems to have a great intro level system. otherwise processors take monthly charges regardless of volume.

also try looking at oswd.org. they have some great templates.
