Thanks alot, wanted to know before I bought one, does it have to be dvd-r. I have a sony Optiarc DVD RW AD-7560a ata High recording and reading speeds for fast and easy operations.
      • Up to 8? recording speed for single-layer DVD?R media using the CAV method
      • Up to 5? recording speed for DVD-RAM media using the ZCLV method
      • Up to 4? recording speed for double-layer DVD?R media using the ZCLV method
      • 8?, 6? and 8? recording speed for single-layer DVD?R media and double-layer
        DVD?R/DVD?RW media.

I was told this won't work, so what kkind to I need? Any ideas thank you for your time.

the burner you have appears to be a internal drive, there are plenty external on the market that are dual layer and will burn all formats of discs really depends on how much you want to spend.
the link is to ebuyer where you will get a good selection at a reasonable price.

Does this mean since it's a laptop internal drive dvd burners it won't work? Says it burns duel layers?

yes it would work providing you mount it in a optical drive enclosure that will take 2.5 inch drive, you will have to do a search to find where you can buy one from.

Ok I got the internal dvd to burn back-ups that work, now my problem is wxripper doesn't seem to get all the info from the games I have, when I run it through to patch it it tells me the iso file is bad then I look at it and it seems much to small, Im running Vista could that be a issue, if so what should I use to rip them?
