window xp mode

    window xp mode

    i have window 7 pro and i have installes xp mode on it , i need to run some more software that are not compatible,in the same xp mode ,can i run anther xp mode in the same computer if yes how ?can someone help plz

    i would think you could only install it once as a second would simply overwrite the first.

      you can partition your hard drive and use several operating systems so you choose the one you want at startup.

        16 bit programs on XP

        Hello all having trouble running a 16 bit program on XP.Tried DOSBOX,virtual PC and others but XP won't allow access to my serial port.I know you can use .config file but not sure how Thanks for any help.

          you can configure a second virtual pc with an own windows xp install. seperatly to your win 7 pro - xp licence, everybody who buys a win7 pro licence also buys one windows xp licence to use it for the windows xp mode.

          you have to create a new virtual pc and manually install from a win xp cd with another win xp licence key

            You need to use the administration funcion, click with the right button over name, and select Open as Admin
