    Must have Firefox addons

Been using these addons with firefox for a couple of weeks now. Had been using firefox on it's own but the interwebs look nicer without adverts None of these seem to interfere with websites I use and the targeted advertising being used now is all getting a bit much! I'd recommend these on any PC.

Adblock plus - Blocks most ad's, have a look at download.com with and without it.
Better Privacy - Removes LSO's and DOM storage file.
Fastest Fox - I'm just using it for search from address bar (like chrome) and next page scrolling.
Beef Taco - writes a set of opt out cookies for targeted advertising on firefox startup

    Anyone using any these?

NoScript: blocks adds, popups, all scripts by default - then it's 2 clicks to re-enable on a site-by-site basis.

    DownThemAll!: integrated download manager /accelerator.

Since I use multiple computers, I use Xmarks which allows me to have all my bookmarks available even after adding new sites.

I think one of the best firefox add-ons has to be BetterPrivacy!

Your big websites, such as Amazon, PayPal, eBay, Google, Microsoft, etc etc use something called Flash Cookies. Basically these are an intelligent form of cookie, which acts as a beacon.

It is constantly sending information back about your surf habits and there has also been talk of other information collected, such as installed software, etc etc.

BetterPrivacy does all the work in the background so it doesnt pickup these trends ;-)

I have tried it already. however it seems some servers do not get deceived by it. eg. Spotify - a decent app allowing UK residents access to huge music library.

Unfortunately with my real Polish IP even if I use foxy proxy to connect Spotify through UK IP it does recognize me as Polish user

Perhaps i should try again with different options?

                              regards
