    Question For Ya!!

I have had a friend of mine come upto me asking if there is a way to "brand" a document with her name on it??

the problem being is that she has created lots of pages in lets say a word document.. and she doesnt want anyone else to simpley copy that file, print it off & claim it as their own work.

so my question is, what software (if any) could she use to brand all her work permanently so it cannot be removed or claimed by someone else as their work??

    Thanks in advance Guys.

probably some sort of watermark software which as you say will brand the docs, you may find a free version if you search.

there is a way to put a watermark into a word doc using microsoft word i have a copy of office 2000 in which it tells you how to do it.

Or you could publish the documents as pdf, and lock the file for no further editing.
However as with most things, if someone really wanted to copy it, its fairly simple if you know how.

use a pdf editor , import the word doc change it to pdf, add a water mark. As ricopicouk says though its not that hard to remove the water mark or any text using the same method.
