    general pc maintanence

    i used to use norton 360.
    on this you could go into mainanence and clear tempory files, cookies that sort of thing.
    i now use vermins free security centre.
    doesn't seem to be an option to this stuff anymore.
    q. should i be using something else to do this????
    reason i'm asking,
    just recently, i've noticed some pages taking longer than usual to load, particularly pages with video links....

            you can set ccleaner to run on start up . takes a few seconds to clean everything but gets rid of all the crap before you start.
            For safety I dont save cookies, passwords etc so use both ccleaner and also set firefox not to save any passwords etc as well as deleting cokies etc on every boot

              i use an add on on firefox that saves all my usernames/passwords etc.
              i like my passwords etc saved so i don't have to type them back in (lazy ~~~~er )
              to be honest im not to worried about security...
              if i set c cleaner to do that will it clear them?

                    ~~~~ it,
                    i'll just run it manually maybe once a week or so....
                    or just wait till the computer grinds to a halt and junk files start falling out the side of it...
