Ah ok, wondering why you don't use it. it is lovely.
I have a acer aspire thingybob, which I have installed windows 7 on. Some of my files (which are large) will not play at all with any of the windows based programs.
Using xbmc live is magic, takes away the bloated windows OS.

Yeah it looks good and its nice to use ... But You can not stream your Dreambox or other receiver to It , I stopped playing around with it and removed it after a few days only recently !

Its supposed to be a Media Center and for it not to have Plugins for Network Straming is a bit lame.

Also to note even thought they release a new version every few months, a lot of the applications are from years back and there website threads are also not up to date and shows a lack of interest by Coders.

I think that its virtually dead in the water. Shame !

My main reason for not using it was because the wife(boss) likes w7mc, and knows how to use it. I think linux would be a bit of a shock to her system.

But also because I couldnt get my HVR3000 card to work from multiple tuners (dvb-s + dvb-t).
I have the some problem with MythTV.

Maybe one day I will try it again, especially MythTV which appears to be very well supported.

I have to use xbmc. My birthday prezzie, a Acer Aspire 3600, ain't powerful enough to play my bigger movies using windows based programs, so I boot it straight into xbmc live.
Just a number of things ain't quite right. Never mind, I guess a few more hours reading the wiki pages will sort it.
A new beta version out now, Dharma. Gonna put that on a stick to try.
The Android remote control is cracking.. again a few teething problems, but, I'll get there.
