    mswinsck.ocx windows 7

    hi guys been trying to open a program that i need but keep getting this message mswinsck.ocx not correctly registered or installed i have windows 7

    Hi, try to download a new one:



    backup your old MSWINSCK:OCX (if there is one) and replace it (the folder should be c:\windows\system32)

    some time it works

    you can also try to run it as WinXP compatibility mode but it depends on the software you are trying to run (new/old/very old)

        the following link refers to the problem you are having with mswinsck.ocx in windows 7 although it is a fix for win vista i would think that you could try it in 7.

          thanks mate i still get this error when clicking on regsvr32 mswinsck.ocx to register a module you must provide a binary name
